Control center 4 brother windows 10 -
I am trying to instal Control Center 4 on a Windows 10 x64 computer and getting the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" many time while the installation run and end up with no software installed. It'S the second computer where i get this problem, the first one was on Windows 7 and the Brother support was'nt usefull to stay polite. Anyone have gotten this error, I have try pretty much everything i could think of and google was'nt really usefull, exept telling me the error his probably linked to.
I have used the Windows 10 X64 download from Brothers website and i did have the same trouble with the install on Windows 7. I did try on another computer and I am running it has admin. I have also try disabling the antivirus. I even try it in Safe mode Wasn't expecting much success here. So you probably can't install the ControlCenter software without first installing the full driver and sotware suite.
Seems like I've seen something like that before. Didn't work, but I will have to try unninstalling Framework 4. Thanks everyone, I will post back i have got the chance to do some testing on the affected computer later this week. I have it on my windows 8 computer and it was installed from the same disk I have tried to use on Windows How can I find it on the computer if it really did download or recover from the disk. I have heard this has happened to others with windows 8.
